The excitement and energy of the Holy Spirit which was alive in the apostles could not be contained by any locked or guarded cell, nor could it be beaten out of them; in spite of growing opposition, they never stopped proclaiming the name of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God has called, gifted, equipped, & energized us with the same power that flowed through the first believers!
